If God Is For Me

창세기 39:1-6

1 요셉이 이집트로 끌려갔습니다. 보디발이라는 이집트 사람이 있었는데, 그 사람은 파라오의 신하였습니다. 그 사람은 왕궁 경호대의 대장이기도 했습니다. 보디발이 요셉을 끌고 온 이스마엘 사람들에게서 요셉을 샀습니다.
2 여호와께서 요셉과 함께하시므로, 요셉이 성공하게 되었습니다. 요셉은 자기 주인인 이집트 사람 보디발의 집에서 살았습니다.
3 보디발은 여호와께서 요셉과 함께 계시다는 것을 알았습니다. 보디발은 여호와께서 요셉이 하는 일마다 성공하게 해 주신다는 것을 알았습니다.
4 그래서 보디발은 요셉을 매우 좋아했습니다. 보디발은 요셉을 마음놓고 믿을 수 있는 부하로 삼았습니다. 그는 요셉에게 집안 일과 자기가 가진 모든 것을 맡겼습니다.
5 그래서 요셉은 집안 일과 보디발이 가진 모든 것을 맡게 되었습니다. 그러자 여호와께서는 요셉으로 인해 보디발의 집에 있는 모든 사람들에게 복을 주셨습니다. 그리고 여호와께서는 보디발이 가진 모든 것, 집에 있는 것이나 들에 있는 모든 것에 복을 주셨습니다.
6 그리하여 보디발은 자기가 가진 모든 것을 요셉에게 맡겼습니다. 보디발은 자기가 먹는 음식 말고는 요셉이 하는 일에 참견하지 않았습니다. 요셉은 멋지고 잘생긴 사람이었습니다.

1 When Joseph was taken to Egypt by the Ishmaelite traders, he was purchased by Potiphar, an Egyptian officer. Potiphar was captain of the guard for Pharaoh, the king of Egypt.
2 The LORD was with Joseph, so he succeeded in everything he did as he served in the home of his Egyptian master.
3 Potiphar noticed this and realized that the LORD was with Joseph, giving him success in everything he did.
4 This pleased Potiphar, so he soon made Joseph his personal attendant. He put him in charge of his entire household and everything he owned.
5 From the day Joseph was put in charge of his master’s household and property, the LORD began to bless Potiphar’s household for Joseph’s sake. All his household affairs ran smoothly, and his crops and livestock flourished.
6 So Potiphar gave Joseph complete administrative responsibility over everything he owned. With Joseph there, he didn’t worry about a thing – except what kind of food to eat! Joseph was a very handsome and well-built young man. Continue reading →

출애굽기 14:5-14

5 이집트 왕은 이스라엘 백성이 이미 도망쳤다는 소식을 들었습니다. 파라오와 그의 신하들은 이스라엘 백성에 대해서 마음을 바꾸었습니다. 그들이 말했습니다. “우리 밑에서 종살이하던 이스라엘 백성을 내보냈으니, 우리가 어쩌자고 이런 일을 했을까?”
6 그래서 파라오는 자기 전차를 준비시킨 뒤, 군대를 이끌고 나갔습니다.
7 그는 또 특별히 고른 전차 육백 대와 이집트의 다른 전차들을 거느리고 나갔습니다. 각 전차마다 장교들이 타고 있었습니다.
8 여호와께서 이집트 왕 파라오의 마음을 고집스런 채로 두셨기 때문에, 그는 의기양양하게 이집트 땅을 빠져 나가고 있던 이스라엘 백성을 뒤쫓았습니다.
9 파라오는 말과 전차와 전차를 모는 군인들과 자기 군대를 이끌고 이스라엘 백성을 뒤쫓았습니다. 그들은 이스라엘 백성이 홍해 곁에 진을 치고 있을 때에 이스라엘 백성을 따라잡았습니다. 그 곳은 비하히롯과 바알스본에서 가까운 곳이었습니다.
10 파라오가 가까이 왔을 때, 이스라엘 백성은 왕과 왕의 군대가 가까이 뒤쫓아온 것을 보고 너무나 무서워서 여호와께 부르짖었습니다.
11 이스라엘 백성이 모세에게 말했습니다. “이집트에 무덤이 없어서 우리를 이 광야로 끌어 내어 죽이려는 거요? 왜 우리를 이집트에서 데리고 나왔소?
12 우리가 이집트에 있을 때, ‘우리는 여기에 남아서 이집트 사람들을 섬길 테니 우리를 내버려 두시오’라고 말하지 않았소? 이집트 사람들을 섬기는 것이 광야에서 죽는 것보다 우리에게는 낫소.”
13 하지만 모세가 대답했습니다. “두려워하지 마시오! 굳게 서서 여호와께서 오늘 여러분에게 베푸실 구원을 보시오. 오늘이 지나면, 이 이집트 사람들을 다시는 보지 않게 될 것이오.
14 그저 가만히 있기만 하시오. 여호와께서 여러분을 위해 싸워 주실 것이오.”

5 When the king of Egypt was told that the people had fled, Pharaoh and his officials changed their minds about them and said, “What have we done? We have let the Israelites go and have lost their services!”
6 So he had his chariot made ready and took his army with him.
7 He took six hundred of the best chariots, along with all the other chariots of Egypt, with officers over all of them.
8 The LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, so that he pursued the Israelites, who were marching out boldly.
9 The Egyptians–all Pharaoh’s horses and chariots, horsemen and troops–pursued the Israelites and overtook them as they camped by the sea near Pi Hahiroth, opposite Baal Zephon.
10 As Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up, and there were the Egyptians, march-ing after them. They were terrified and cried out to the LORD.
11 They said to Moses, “Was it because there were no graves in Egypt that you brought us to the desert to die? What have you done to us by bringing us out of Egypt?
12 Didn’t we say to you in Egypt, ‘Leave us alone; let us serve the Egyptians’? It would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the desert!”
13 Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliver-ance the LORD will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again.
14 The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Continue reading →

시편 46:1-7

1 <택한 사람을 보호하시는 하나님-고라 자손의 시. 알라못에 맞춰 지휘자를 따라 부른 노래> 하나님은 우리의 피난처시며 힘이십니다. 어려울 때에 언제나 우리를 돕는 분이십니다.
2 그래서 우리는 땅이 흔들려도, 산들이 바닷속으로 무너져 내려도
3 바닷물이 넘실거리고, 파도가 치고, 사나운 바다에 산들이 흔들려도 두려워하지 않을 것입니다. (셀라)
가장 높으신 분이 사시는 성소, 하나님의 성에 기쁨을 가져다 주는 시내가 하나 있습니다.
5 하나님이 그 성 안에 계시므로, 그 성이 흔들리지 않을 것입니다. 하나님께서 새벽부터 그 성을 도우실 것입니다.
6 나라들이 떨며 왕국들마다 흔들거립니다. 그가 목소리를 높이시자, 땅이 녹아 내립니다.
7 만군의 여호와가 우리와 함께 계십니다. 야곱의 하나님은 우리의 피난처이십니다. (셀라)

2 So we will not fear when earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea.

4 A river brings joy to the city of our God, the sacred home of the Most High.
5 God dwells in that city; it cannot be destroyed. From the very break of day, God will protect it.
6 The nations are in chaos, and their kingdoms crumble! God’s voice thunders, and the earth melts!

17 이 때부터, 예수님께서 “회개하라. 하늘 나라가 가까이 왔다”라고 외치며 전도를 시작하셨습니다.
18 예수님께서 갈릴리 호숫가를 거니시다가 두 형제, 베드로라고 하는 시몬과 그의 동생 안드레가 호수에 그물을 던지는 것을 보셨습니다. 그들은 어부였습니다.
19 예수님께서 그들에게 말씀하셨습니다. “나를 따라오너라. 내가 너희를 사람을 낚는 어부로 삼겠다.”
20 그 즉시, 시몬과 안드레는 그물을 버려 두고 예수님을 따랐습니다.
21 예수님께서는 계속 거니시다가, 또 다른 두 형제, 세베대의 아들 야고보와 그의 동생 요한이 배 안에서 아버지 세베대와 함께 그물을 수선하고 있는 것을 보았습니다. 예수님께서 그들을 부르셨습니다.
22 그들도 그 즉시, 배와 아버지를 버려 둔 채, 예수님을 따랐습니다.

17 From then on Jesus began to preach, “Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.”
18 One day as Jesus was walking along the shore of the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers – Simon, also called Peter, and Andrew – throwing a net into the water, for they fished for a living.
19 Jesus called out to them, “Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people!”
20 And they left their nets at once and followed him.
21 A little farther up the shore he saw two other brothers, James and John, sitting in a boat with their father, Zebedee, repairing their nets. And he called them to come, too.

이사야 35:1-10

1 광야와 메마른 땅이 기뻐하며 사막이 백합화 같이 피어 즐거워 하며
2 무성하게 피어 기쁜 노래로 즐거워하며 레바논의 영광과 갈멜과 사론의 아름다움을 얻을 것이라. 그것들이 여호와의 영광 곧 우리 하나님의 아름다움을 보리로다.
3 너희는 약한 손을 강하게 하며 떨리는 무릎을 굳게 하며
4 겁내는 자들에게 이르기를 굳세어라, 두려워하지 말라, 보라 너희 하나님이 오사 보복하시며 갚아 주실 것이라, 하나님이 오사 너희를 구하시리라 하라. 5 그 때에 맹인의 눈이 밝을 것이며 못 듣는 사람의 귀가 열릴 것이며
6 그 때에 저는 자는 사슴 같이 뛸 것이며 말 못하는 자의 혀는 노래하리니 이는 광야에서 물이 솟겠고 사막에서 시내가 흐를 것임이라.
7 뜨거운 사막이 변하여 못이 될 것이며 메마른 땅이 변하여 원천이 될 것이며 승냥이의 눕던 곳에 풀과 갈대와 부들이 날 것이며
8 거기에 대로가 있어 그 길을 거룩한 길이라 일컫는 바 되리니, 깨끗하지 못한 자는 지나가지 못하겠고 오직 구속함을 입은 자들을 위하여 있게 될 것이라. 우매한 행인은 그 길로 다니지 못할 것이며
9 거기에는 사자가 없고 사나운 짐승이 그리로 올라가지 아니하므로 그것을 만나지 못하겠고 오직 구속함을 받은 자만 그리로 행할 것이며
10 여호와의 속량함을 받은 자들이 돌아오되 노래하며 시온에 이르러 그들의 머리 위에 영영한 희락을 띠고 기쁨과 즐거움을 얻으리니 슬픔과 탄식이 사라지리로다.

1 Even the wilderness and desert will be glad in those days. The wasteland will rejoice and blossom with spring crocuses.
2 Yes, there will be an abundance of flowers and singing and joy! The deserts will become as green as the mountains of Lebanon, as lovely as Mount Carmel or the plain of Sharon. There the Lord will display his glory, the splendor of our God.
3 With this news, strengthen those who have tired hands, and encourage those who have weak knees.
4 Say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, and do not fear, for your God is coming to destroy your enemies. He is coming to save you.”
5 And when he comes, he will open the eyes of the blind and unplug the ears of the deaf.
6 The lame will leap like a deer, and those who cannot speak will sing for joy! Springs will gush forth in the wilderness, and streams will water the wasteland.
7 The parched ground will become a pool, and springs of water will satisfy the thirsty land. Marsh grass and reeds and rushes will flourish where desert jackals once lived.
8 And a great road will go through that once deserted land. It will be named the Highway of Holiness. Evil-minded people will never travel on it. It will be only for those who walk in God’s ways; fools will never walk there.
9 Lions will not lurk along its course, nor any other ferocious beasts. There will be no other dangers. Only the redeemed will walk on it.
10 Those who have been ransomed by the Lord will return. They will enter Jerusalem① singing, crowned with everlasting joy. Sorrow and mourning will disappear, and they will be filled with joy and gladness. / ①Hebrew Zion Continue reading →
