예수님께서 인정하신 믿음
마태복음 9:1-8
1 예수님께서 배를 타시고, 호수를 가로질러 고향으로 돌아오셨습니다. 2 그 때, 사람들이 중풍병 환자 한 사람을 침상에 누인 채 예수님께로 데려왔습니다. 예수님께서 사람들의 믿음을 보시고 중풍병 환자에게 말씀하셨습니다. “안심하여라, 아들아! 네 죄가 용서받았다.” 3 몇몇 율법학자들이 속으로 말했습니다. ‘이 사람이 하나님을 모독하는구나.’ 4 예수님께서 그들의 생각을 아시고 말씀하셨습니다. “어찌하여 너희가 마음속으로 악한 생각을 하느냐? 5 ‘네 죄가 용서받았다’라고 하는 것과 ‘일어나 걸어라’ 하고 말하는 것 중에서 어느 것이 더 쉽겠느냐? 6 그러나 인자가 땅에서 죄를 용서할 권세를 가지고 있다는 것을 너희에게 보여 주기 위함이었다.” 그리고 예수님께서 중풍병 환자에게 말씀하셨습니다. “일어나 네 침상을 가지고 집으로 가거라.” 7 그러자 그 사람이 일어나 집으로 갔습니다. 8 사람들이 이것을 보고 두려워하며, 사람에게 이런 권세를 주신 하나님께 영광을 돌렸습니다.
1 Jesus climbed into a boat and went back across the lake to his own town. 2 Some people brought to him a paralyzed man on a mat. Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralyzed man, “Be encouraged, my child! Your sins are forgiven.” 3 But some of the teachers of religious law said to themselves, “That’s blasphemy! Does he think he’s God?” 4 Jesus knew① what they were thinking, so he asked them, “Why do you have such evil thoughts in your hearts? / ①Some manuscripts read saw 5 Is it easier to say `Your sins are forgiven,’ or `Stand up and walk’? 6 So I will prove to you that the Son of Man① has the authority on earth to forgive sins.” Then Jesus turned to the paralyzed man and said, “Stand up, pick up your mat, and go home!” / ①”Son of Man” is a title Jesus used for himself 7 And the man jumped up and went home! 8 Fear swept through the crowd as they saw this happen.
