But Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid, stand firm, and see the deliverance that the Lord will accomplish for you today; for the Egyptians whom you see today you shall never see again. 이번주일 아이들 설교말씀은 홍해를 가른 모세 이야기 입니다. 이집트로부터 나온 이스라엘 민족은 하나님의 명령에 따라 홍해바다 근처에 장막을 쳤습니다. 마음이 바뀐 바로는 병거를 갖추고, 자신의 군대를 이끌고 이스라엘 민족의 뒤를 쫓았습니다. 이스라엘 민족은 크게 두려워 하며 하나님께 부르짖었고, 이집트로부터 자신들을 이끌어 낸 모세를 원망하였습니다. 이에 모세는 하나님을 신뢰하고 하나님께서 하실 일을 보자고 하였습니다. 하나님께서는 모세에게 홍해 바다로 가서 두 팔을 벌리면 바다가 갈라질 것이라고 하셨고, 모세는 그 말씀에 순종하여 두 팔을 벌렸고 바다가 갈라져 그 바다 가운데로 이스라엘 백성이 건너기 시작했습니다. 뒤이어 이집트 군사들이 이스라엘을 따라 바다로 들어왔지만 모세가 다시 양 팔을 내밀자 물이 바다를 덮어 이집트 군사들은 다 물에 잠기게 되었습니다. 이스라엘은 하나님의 도우심을 경험하였고, 하나님을 찬양하였습니다. 우리 아이들도 날마다 주님을 신뢰하고 주님의 뜻에 따라 순종하며 살아가는 믿음의 자녀들 되기를 소망합니다.

The sermon for this Sunday is about Moses who divided the Red Sea. According to God’s command, Israelites who came out from Egypt made the camp nearby the Red Sea. Pharaoh who changed his mind got in his chariot and chased Israelites with his army. Israelites cried out to God and blamed Moses who led them out of Egypt. Moses trusted God and suggested them to see what God would do for them. God commanded Moses to lift his staff and stretch out his hand over the sea. When he obeyed God and did what God said, the Red Sea was divided. Israelites crossed the sea, but the Egyptian army followed them. However, when Moses stretched out his hand again, the water returned and covered the Egyptian army. No one in the army survived. Israelites experienced the help and guidance of God and praised the Lord. We hope that our children become the children of faith who trust and obey God.

이번 주일 아이들 설교말씀은 이집트에 내린 열가지 재앙 이야기 입니다. 하나님은 모세와 아론을 통하여 파라오에게 이스라엘 민족을 보내 광야에서 하나님께 제사 지내도록 요구하였습니다. 하지만 파라오는 이스라엘의 하나님은 자신이 신이 아니라고 하며 이를 거절하였습니다. 그리고 더욱 가혹한 일들을 이스라엘 민족에게 부과하였습니다. 그는 이집트에 이스라엘 민족이 이집트 인들보다 더 많아진 것에 대하여 염려하고 있었기 때문입니다. 이에 모세는 하나님께 이스라엘 민족의 어려운 상황을 호소하였고, 하나님은 이집트에 열가지 재앙을 내리셨습니다. 아홉번째 까지의 재앙 동안에 파라오는 하나님을 기만하였고 이스라엘 민족을 보내지 않았습니다. 마침내 열번째 재앙을 통해 하나님은 이집트의 모든 장자를 데려가셨습니다. 자신의 장자를 잃게 된 파라오는 마침내 모세와 아론을 불러 이스라엘 민족을 이집트에서 나가도록 하였습니다. 열가지 재앙동안 이스라엘 민족은 실망하지 않고 하나님의 명령대로 늘 순종하였고 결국 하나님께서 약속하신 땅을 향해 나아갈 수 있었습니다. 우리 아이들도 모세와 같이 늘 주님의 말씀을 듣고, 순종하는 믿음의 자녀들 되기를 기도합니다.

The sermon for this Sunday is about ten plagues that God had brought on Egypt. God asked Moses and Aaron to bring God’s people out of the Egypt to the wilderness to worship God. However, Pharaoh refused to send them because he did not believe nor trust God. Pharaoh imposed more severe work on the Israelites because he was afraid that the number of Israelites would grow more than the number of Egyptians. Moses prayed to God about the difficult situation of Israelites, and God brought ten plagues to Egypt. During the nine plagues, Pharaoh deceived God and did not send the Israelites. Through the tenth plague, God took all the firstborns of Egypt. Pharaoh, who had lost his firstborn son, eventually called Moses and Aaron to take the Israelites out of Egypt. During the ten plagues, Israelites were not disappointed but always obeyed God’s commands and walked towards God’s promised land. We pray that our children will always obey the words of the LORD and be the children of faith like Moses.

이번 주일 아이들 설교말씀은 모세 이야기 입니다. 야곱과 그의 가족들이 이집트로 온 뒤, 요셉이 죽은 뒤에도 그들은 이집트에 살았습니다. 하지만 이집트의 파라오는 이스라엘 사람들을 경계하였는데 그 이유는 그들의 수가 많아졌기 때문입니다. 그래서 파라오는 이스라엘 민족을 노예로 만들고 태어나는 남자 아이들을 모두 죽이도록 하였습니다. 그 때에 태어난 모세는 바구니에 담겨져 나일 강가에 떠내려갔고, 파라오의 딸에 의해 구해져 양자로 살게 되었습니다. 모세가 성장하여 어른이 되었을 때에 그는 이집트 사람이 이스라엘 남자를 학대하는 것을 보았습니다. 모세는 그 이집트 남자를 죽였고, 파라오는 모세를 죽이려 하였습니다. 모세는 파라오를 피해 미디안 광야로 도망갔고 불타는 떨기나무 앞에서 하나님을 만나게 되었습니다. 하나님께서는 모세에게 이집트로 돌아가라고 하신 뒤 두려워 하는 모세에게 세가지 기적을 보여주시며 모세에게 확인을 시켜주셨습니다. 우리 아이들도 날마자 하나님의 돌보심을 경험하며 자라는 믿음의 자녀들 되기를 원합니다. 아이들의 하나님의 말씀을 듣고 기도하며 예배 드릴때에 하나님께서 아이들을 만나주시길 기도합니다.

The sermon for this Sunday worship is the story of Moses. After Jacob and his family moved to Egypt, they stayed there for decades. However, the new Pharaoh was afraid of Israelites growing so big. He made Israelites slaves and ordered to kill all the baby boys. Moses, who was born during this time, was carried in the basket and fled along the Nile River. Pharaoh’s daughter saw the basket, saved Moses, and made him her son. When Moses grew up, he saw an Egyptian man mistreating an Israelite man. Moses killed the Egyptian, which made Pharaoh angry and try to kill Moses. Moses ran away from Pharaoh into the wilderness of Midian and met God in front of a burning bush. God told Moses to return to Egypt, showing three miracles to Moses who was afraid. We hope our children become the children of faith who experience the good care of God. We pray that God will meet our children when they pray and worship God.

Jacob also sent his sons to Egypt for food. Joseph recognized his brothers, but they did not know the prime minister was their brother. They were sent back to Canaan to bring their youngest brother, Benjamin, while leaving one of them in prison until they came back. When they returned to Egypt with their youngest son, Joseph invited them, had meal together, and revealed himself to his brothers. Joseph said that even though he had suffered and experienced many difficulties throughout his life, God was with him and helped him. He was always with God and trusted Him. We hope our children become children of faith like Joseph, who had overcome his sufferings with God among difficult times.
