본문말씀: 사무엘상 1 Samuel 16:11-12
제목: 다윗이 기름부음을 받다 David Was Anointed

그리고 나서 사무엘이 이새에게 물었습니다. “여기에 있는 아들이 전부요?” 이새가 대답했습니다. “막내 아들이 더 있습니다. 그 아이는 밖에서 양들을 돌보고 있습니다.” 사무엘이 말했습니다. “그 아이를 불러 오시오. 그 아이가 오기 전까지 식탁에 앉지 않겠소.” 리하여 이새는 사람을 보내어 자기 막내 아들을 불러 오게 하였습니다. 이새의 막내 아들은 살결이 불그스레하고 눈이 빛나는 잘생긴 소년이었습니다. 여호와께서 사무엘에게 말씀하셨습니다. “자 바로 이 소년이다. 일어나 그에게 기름을 부어라.” (쉬운성경)

Then Samuel asked, “Are these all the sons you have?” “There is still the youngest,” Jesse replied. “But he’s out in the fields watching the sheep and goats.” “Send for him at once,” Samuel said. “We will not sit down to eat until he arrives.” So Jesse sent for him. He was dark and handsome, with beautiful eyes. And the LORD said, “This is the one; anoint him.” (New Living Translation)

이번주일 아이들 설교말씀은 다윗왕 이야기입니다. 사울왕이 하나님의 말씀에 불순종하여 하나님께서는 새로운 왕이 될 사람을 찾고자 하셨습니다. 하나님께서는 사무엘을 베들레헴으로 보내셔 이새의 아들들 가운데 왕이 될 사람을 찾으셨습니다. 사무엘은 이새의 첫째 아들을 마음에 들어했지만 하나님께서는 그의 막내아들 다윗을 왕으로 삼으셨습니다. 어느날 전장에 있는 형들에게 간 다윗은 골리앗을 보게 되었고, 사울왕에게 자신이 골리앗과 싸우겠다고 하였습니다. 왕은 자신의 갑옷을 다윗에게 주었지만 어린 다윗에게는 그것들이 무겁고 컸습니다. 하나님을 의지한 다윗은 둥근 돌 다섯개를 들고 골리앗 앞에 섰고, 맷돌을 던져 골리앗을 쓰러트렸습니다. 우리 아이들도 다윗과 같이 늘 하나님을 의지하며 살아가는 믿음의 자녀들 되기를 기도합니다.

The sermon for this Sunday worship is about the story of King David. Saul disobeyed God, and God wanted to find a new king. God sent Samuel to Bethlehem to find the next king among Jesse’s sons. Samuel liked the oldest son, but God chose the youngest son David as the next king. One day, David went to the battlefield to see his brothers and saw the Philistines’, great warrior Goliath. David turned to King Saul and told him that he wanted to fight against Goliath. Saul gave David his armor, but it was heavy and too big for him. David trusted God so that he took five smooth stones, slung a stone to Goliath, and killed him. We pray that our children become the children of faith like David who always trusted God.
